Ashara Ekundayo — a Black feminist, independent curator, cultural theologian, artist, creative industries entrepreneur and organizer working internationally across cultural, spiritual, civic, and social innovation spaces — developed Artist As First Responder (AAFR) as a means to reimagine and reify artists’ fundamental purpose within society.
