Learn how to make Artnelson Concordia's Famous Filipino Cioppino
Live cooking demo Friday, October 30
featuring Artnelson Concordia’s Famous ‘Filipino Cioppino’!
What is Filipino Cioppino?
It’s a Filipino spin on the classic San Franciscan/Italian seafood dish ‘Cioppino’. Typically made with a tomato base broth and an array of seafood (fresh clams, scallops, crab, white fish and mussels), Artnelson’s Filipino version comes in a spiced coconut broth served over jasmine rice/or a toasted baguette.
First introduced at the historic 7 Mile House as a one night only pop up for Filipino American History Month (FAHM) four years ago, we wanted to share this recipe as a way to celebrate not only FAHM, but Artnelson’s 21 years as an educator at San Francisco’s Unified School District.
This event is also a farewell to the Concordia family as they embark on a new adventure in Southern California where Artnelson will be coordinating the Ethnic Studies program at Santa Barbara Unified School District!
Shop for ingredients in advance and get ready to feast on Friday night!
