Chef's Table Dinner Event Featuring Old Skool Cafe Chef and Mentor Kevin Tucker
The historic 7 Mile House restaurant located in the Bayshore District has opened up their kitchen to chef and mentor Kevin Tucker from the Bayview’s Old Skool Cafe, a youth run, jazz themed supper club, for a one night only dinner event this Wednesday, September 16, 2015, from 5-9pm. As part of 7 Mile House’s weekly ‘Chef’s Table’ dinner, Chef Kevin Tucker is one of the many community figures that will be featured since they launched the guest chef program this past August.
“The Chef’s Table event is our way of inviting the community into our kitchen in a way that really creates a feeling of being a guest in someone’s home. We’re honored and excited to have Chef Kevin share his favorite recipes, and hope to bring awareness to the great things our neighbors in the Bayview are doing in the community at Old Skool Cafe.” – Vanessa Garcia, Owner of 7 Mile House
Wednesday’s menu will include Chef Kevin’s favorite Cajun/Creole dishes. Reservations are highly recommended.
