Fil-Am Jazz Singer Melissa Morgan Announces  Bay Area Summer Performances at 7 Mile House Historic Venue To Host Morgan May - August

BRISBANE, CA - The Filipino-owned 7 Mile House has quickly become a haven for world class jazz musicians in the SF/Bay Area and is bringing the next generation to the stage with the soulful sounds of up-and-coming Filipina-American jazz singer, Melissa Morgan. Morgan has been a featured artist at the San Francisco Filipino American Jazz Festival, and has recorded with the likes of Grammy Award nominee trumpeter, Christian Scott. She recently signed onto award-winning label Big Noise. Morgan’s performances will be a summer destination for jazz aficionados, with all four powerful shows falling on a Tuesday and scheduled on May 31st, June 28th, July 26th, and August 16th. Shows begin at 7pm.

7 Mile House's Jazz Program is nine years strong and is continuously growing with a repertoire of notable Bay Area veteran artists who are featured three times a week, including Vince Lateano, Al Molina, Dave Bendigkeit and Andrew Speight. The venue recently launched a Jazz Appreciation Club, giving members exclusive perks and priority seating during jazz shows. 7 Mile House is a unique Bay Area experience for locals and travelers alike, and is becoming known for bringing world class jazz artists into its intimate setting (conveniently located in between downtown San Francisco and SFO International Airport, off the 101 Freeway). The family and dog-friendly restaurant has also become a destination for their authentic Manila-style sisig and chicken adobo, which owner Vanessa Garcia boasts are two of the most popular items on the mostly American and Italian menu.
