No, it’s not another social networking site, and it’s not a reference to the “bandcamp” from American Pie.
BANDCAMP is kind of like your CDBaby page, but better (sorry cdbaby).
Sure it’s another thing to set up, but if you’re going to go through the trouble of uploading your music, might as well have it work for you in a format that’s clean, simple, and comes with great tools to track the scope of where/when/how your music is being heard. Oh and you can set your own price too, or let your fans decide.
