I guess the name really stuck… (*enter sarcasm here – thanks Adriel!)
Another update – As much as I heart google products – the Papa Lo-Down will be moving over to wordpress, as will the rest of iLL-Literacy.com in the next few days. Expect to see some updates on my site, isn’t it exziting?!
We’ve done the research and found wordpress to be more effective and able to streamline all of our website/blogging needs.
So for all of you artists who have not started a blog yet, sign up with wordpress! Those of you who have been faithful to blogger it’s time to step your game up…
wordpress pros:
- Create Categories (blogger only lets you tag) – categories will help readers filter through your posts to find the information their looking for easily.
- Integrated Stats System (blogger does not have this feature) – up-to-the-minute stats on how many people are visiting your blog, where they’re coming from, which posts are most popular, and which search engine terms are sending people to your blog.
- Page Management – allows you to easily create web pages, which you cannot do on blogger. You can actually create an entire website with this feature, and direct your domain name to wordpress.
- Uploads – you can upload directly to your blog mp3′s and video without having to go through a third party like youtube.
